Review I CREEPSHOW Collector's Edition 4K UHD + BD

By Chad Guilder, More Horror -

Creepshow: A Horror Classic for the Ages

I've been a fan of Creepshow since I was a kid. I remember watching it on TV for the first time and being absolutely terrified. But it was also funny, and I loved the way it paid homage to the classic EC Comics of my childhood.

The movie is an anthology, with five different stories that are all connected by a framing device involving a creepy old comic book. The stories range from the gross-out humor of "The Crate" to the more suspenseful "Father's Day." But they all have one thing in common: they're all really, really creepy.

One of the things that makes Creepshow so special is the way it combines humor and horror. The stories are often funny, but they're also genuinely scary. And the humor helps to lighten the mood and make the scares more effective.

Another thing that I love about Creepshow is the way it's shot. The movie has a very distinct visual style, with bright colors and exaggerated shadows. This gives the movie a comic book feel, which really helps to set the tone.

Creepshow is a classic horror movie that has stood the test of time. It's funny, scary, and beautifully shot. If you're a fan of horror movies, then you need to see Creepshow.

"Romero and King have approached this movie with humor and affection, as well as an appreciation of the macabre." - Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times

I couldn't agree more with Roger Ebert's assessment of Creepshow. The movie is a perfect blend of humor, horror, and affection for the macabre. It's a true classic that I'll never get tired of watching.

If you're looking for a good scare, then I highly recommend Creepshow. It's a movie that will stay with you long after you've seen it.
